Book Review: Eating Animals

I've been a vegetarian for almost 20 years now, and before that I was a hard-core carnivore (ate meat three times a day). Going veg is actually really easy--the key is to focus on adding more veggies, beans, and whole grains to your diet instead of simply trying to replace the meat (don't worry about protein--as long as you're eating enough calories of good foods, you get plenty of protein). There are tons of resources out there to help you get started, such as http://www.vegetariantimes.com/2007/pdf/vegetarian_starter_kit.pdf. Happy eating!
Thanks for posting a comment. I really appreciate the link. I skimmed through this and went ahead and printed this off. This is a great place to start. I am off the grocery store later so this gave me some good ideas of what to eat and try.
