Here is the rationale and decision made by two 6th grade students: Anna and Molly
Out of the two book we were given, Red Kayak and Incarceron, we chose Red Kayak because we felt Incarceron was too long and drawn out. Red Kayak was short and sweet and got to the point quicker. It also had more twists and sadness in addition to more excitement. Incarceron had as many twists as Red Kayak , but it was longer and so it made it exciting, then boring, then exciting again. That is why we shose to advance Red Kayak
