Spike: Elf on the Shelf has arrived in the house

Whew! Great thing I remembered this morning while looking for my footpod to set out Spike(name of our Elf on the Shelf). I stuck him in a location that allowed them to find it easy, but out of the way of being touched. When I returned from the Y, the kids were super jacked up that he arrived. They have been waiting since Thanksgiving. We told Aiden and Addy that he does not arrive until December 1st. This morning Spike arrived and they received a piece of candy from their Advent Calendar.
