From the website
In the beginning they were a group of nine. Nine aliens who left their home planet of Lorien when it fell under attack by the evil Mogadorian. Nine aliens who scattered on Earth. Nine aliens who look like ordinary teenagers living ordinary lives, but who have extraordinary, paranormal skills. Nine aliens who might be sitting next to you now.
The Nine had to separate and go into hiding. The Mogadorian caught Number One in Malaysia, Number Two in England, and Number Three in Kenya. All of them were killed. John Smith, of Paradise, Ohio, is Number Four. He knows that he is next.
I AM NUMBER FOUR is the thrilling launch of a series about an exceptional group of teens as they struggle to outrun their past, discover their future—and live a normal life on Earth.
I AM NUMBER FOUR.
I AM NEXT.

What more does one want in a book? You cannot ask for anymore because the brain would explode. The book gives you everything you need in an excellent read.
I know the movie comes out Friday. Yes, I want to see it. No, it probably won't happen, but I sure hope it turns out to be a good movie.
I cannot wait for the sequel. I want it NOW!
This author has me intrigued as it appears to be a mysterious and unknown type person. It just addes more fuel to the mysteries of the book.
You must read this book.
Caution that this is a YA book for older readers due to some foul language and pretty graphic battle scenes. I always put out the warning for those that maybe should hold off another year or two. It does not take away from the coolness of the book, but stated to cover my butt.
Well, stop reading this and go read some crazy monster alien fighting plot in I Am Number Four. Trust me, the book is better reading than this post.
